Currency is an engaging historical thriller...a real page-turner with a very timely plotline given today's headlines. highly recommended. can't wait for future books by Mr. Wood.

Todd, I read you book and have been thinking about it since I finished it. I have been a member of a NYC book club for 28 years, and we monthly read award winning fiction - I am more engaged by character driven rather than plot driven writing. However, your plot (driven work) was most interesting - and your premise while chilling, is also something that I can possibly imagine. Having worked in the financial industry for over 12 years, I can relate to the story line you have created, and find it to be timely and pretty accurate. It is certainly well worth the read – nice job!

Dear Mr Wood,
Thanks for providing such an illuminating read & so many enjoyable hours learning a bit about history with a good smattering of economic analysis.
I will suggest my PhD students read this for enlightenment as much as for sheer enjoyment.

Todd Wood, I must tell you how much I enjoyed your book, Currency. I recevied it on a Wednesday, read a little on Thurs, worked in little on Friday, spent weekend until I finished! Could not put it down until the last page. Your wiritng skill of "sandwiching" historical facts between the chapters of fact and fiction left me spellbound. Now let me say---I do not read a lot of fiction, but your your writing style mesmerzied me. I found the stomach-wrentching content a current and powerful connection with today's world events. A story of world finance, gold market, romance, and powerful suspense made for a powerful journey. It should be on each book-stores table for customers to see, buy and read! I look forward to your next book!
Thank you for my "great weekend" --- your novel in hand!

Todd, I met you today at Sundog Books in Seaside. I've read quite a few pages already in just a few hours. It's a great read and I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning the financial truth about the mess this Country is headed. We've got to do something in November to fix the problem!
I was the old guy who mentioned my birthplace.. Chanute Air Force base in Rantoul, IL.
Please ad me to your list regarding the next book.
